Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders enjoyed hard-earned success with their breakout 1984 Learning to Crawl LP, and toured widely throughout that year in support of it. The poster used in this t-shirt design promoted the band’s August stop at the Poplar Creek outdoor music venue in suburban Chicago, where a still-unknown-to-U.S.-audiences Simple Minds opened the show.
